The end of the year banquet was held January 20th at RJ’s on West Hwy 54 in Camdenton. Officers were voted on at the banquet. Win Stevens made a motion with a second by Rich Chiodini to keep the current officers. Motion passed unanimously. Current officers are John Blankenbeker president, Carl Carnahan vice president, and Kathy Blankenbeker secretary-treasurer. Current youth directors are Benjamin Blankenbeker and Win Stevens and tournament director is Chuck Bonnett. Every one agreed to remain in office for the next year.
Awards for 2010 were presented as follows: First Place Chuck Bonnett, Big Bass Richard Chiodini with 5 lbs 11.5 ozs., and most improved Keith Golchert. Congratulations to all three of them. We might add that we had good attendance at the tournaments this year and competition was close – we hope that will continue this year as well.
The last business at the banquet was voting on the schedule for next year which is listed at the bottom of the page along with the first two tournaments for the 2012 season. Also, attached is a list of members at this time, please note we do have some new members this year. Also, I have included on this list everyone from last year even if dues have not been paid yet. Due to weather and economy not every one has been able to get theirs in yet, however we do have to turn in to MoBASS any one that wants to fish the state tournament by June 1st. Dues, $70.00, for the 2011 year need to be paid as soon as possible. If you would like to mail them, please send to: Blankenbeker PO Box 3115 Camdenton, MO 65020.
If you have raffle tickets please bring the stubs and money to the meeting on March 1st, so we can turn it in at the state meeting in April. Remember all money made from this raffle remains in our club. Another item to be discussed at the March meeting is ways to increase attendance and participation. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
